Print

At Phoenix Press we have a passion for perfection and take great pride in the printing we produce.

Digital print is a growing market - it enables us to print jobs on demand either from an emailed file or from your artwork supplied on a USB.

Our new digital press enables us to provide high quality printing jobs on various stocks and can even print on plastics.

Digital printing is most suited to lower volumes and is very economical but it can also be used for those last minute emergencies where a few thousand leaflets are needed urgently.

Lithographic printing is a high quality printing method best suited to quantities in the thousands. Litho print is created using aluminium light sensitive plates which are processed using our in-house CTP system. We produce full colour print this way and specialise in printing Pantone colours, metallic colours and fluorescent colours, with a Pantone matching service provided.

Litho print is also very versatile and we can print on many high end paper stocks with textured and embossed finishes, particularly uncoated papers and boards.
At Phoenix Press we have a wide range of in-house finishing equipment to enable us to control our jobs from start to finish, keeping within a very stringent quality control system making sure each and every job is finished to a very high standard. Every job is checked and packed ready for dispatch, ensuring our print arrives in first class condition.

Specialist Finishing Services

We offer Heidelberg Platen die cutting and creasing, which enables us to cut to any shape, with metallic foiling and embossing to enhance your printed products. We can also duplex and triplex business cards, for example creating 1020gsm cards with a coloured middle.

At Phoenix Press we offer an exceptional trade printing service for other printers, graphic designers, office supply companies and design agencies.

They benefit from a trade pricing structure which enables them to maximise profits.

We specialise in NCR printing, Pantone colour matching and specialist inks such as metallic and neon inks for the trade.

The acronym "NCR" in the printing industry stands for No Carbon Required. Carbonless paper is specially coated so that when the top sheet is written on, it transfers the writing onto all the other sheets beneath it, referred to as "sets". Sets are made up of a top and a bottom sheet with as many middle sheets as required. The sets can be stored for many years.

At Phoenix Press we make NCR books, sets and pads which can be produced with numbering and perforations as required. We produce many thousands each month for both our trade customers and direct to the end user.
