Every visit to Phoenix Press comes with a friendly hello from Tiny
Phoenix Press was originally named W.F. Smith and Son and began trading in 1902. It was a very progressive and highly regarded printing company in the Sale area. Along with the mainstay of general printing work, they printed a local free newspaper called The Pioneer which was the predecessor of today’s local papers. At the time it was one of only two newspapers of its kind. In those days, everything was printed with the old fashioned metal letterpress type. Each word was individually composed by hand - a far cry from present technology and how printing is produced today.
At Phoenix Press we continue to provide our customers with a high level of service, quality and value for money.
“Logic will get you from A to Z, imagination will get you everywhere”
